The modern day version of Santa Claus was created for The Coca-Cola Company by Haddon Sundblom, one of America's famous commercial artists. Sundblom painted more than 35 Santas for Coca-Cola. This was first painted in 1931. This 1945 Sundblom Santa was originally an outdoor billboard advertisement. Copyright dated 1992.
